Huizen has four marinas:

  1. The municipal Marina of Huizen
  2. Jachthaven 't Huizerhoofd(externe link)
  3. Jachthaven Watersport Centrum(externe link)
  4. Aanloophaven Huizen

The marinas are accessible from the 'Gooimeer' through a marked waterway (marked buoy: GM 26-H 1) of about 1.90m deep. There is a green harbour light on the western harbour head and a red light on the eastern harbour head (N 52°19,’00” E 005°14’ 57”).  

The municipal Marinas of Huizen

As you approach Huizen from the 'Gooimeer', you will sail into the harbour area through a marked waterway (marker buoy: GM 26-H 1). After 100m at your left you see the municipal 'Nieuwe haven'. Sail straight ahead, passed the Nautical Quarter on your right into the municipal 'Oude haven'. The two marinas have about 400 berths and is ideally suited for visitors. When tying up at the arrivals jetty you will see the harbour office on you rights, on the western side of the harbour. 

Facilities in the municipal marina

The municipal marina has about 400 berths with shore power and water. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer available (You'll need to download the 'aanuit.net' app). Please check with the harbour master for the door code of the laundry room. 

There are also several catering establishments in the vicinity of the marina, as well as a Lidl supermarket at the top of the harbour. 

It's also possible to hire bicycles. Check with the harbour master or at the Fletcher Hotel in the Nautical Quarter.
